Nominations Open for the PTAC Golden Apple Award

The Alexandria PTA Council (PTAC) is asking for submissions for its 2023 PTAC Golden Apple Award nominations. The PTAC Golden Apple awards are given to Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) educators who excel at family engagement by partnering with parents and caregivers to make every child’s potential a reality.

“Nothing makes us happier than being able to shine a light on teachers who truly embody the home/school partnership,” Alexandria PTAC President Missy Estabrook said. “This critical collaboration leads to improved student achievement, behavior, attendance and self-esteem. We can’t wait to thank our educators for all they do.”
